Terms of Use for VocabAid

1. Use of the App

VocabAid is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. The purpose of the app is to help you identify and understand difficult vocabulary, phrases, idioms, and metaphors.

You agree to:

• Use the App in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws
• Not misuse, interfere with, or attempt to reverse-engineer any part of the App
• Not use the App to violate the rights of others or distribute harmful content

2. User Accounts

You may sign in to VocabAid using Sign in with Apple. When doing so, we receive a unique user ID and optionally your email address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Do not share your account with others.

3. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality in the App—including text, code, UI, design elements, and logos—are the property of VocabAid or its licensors, and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.

4. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or us.

You may also delete your account or stop using the App at any time.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your specific purposes.

We make no representations regarding the accuracy or completeness of vocabulary or language insights provided through the App.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VocabAid and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
